As Practice Lead, Business Analysis, you will shape the future of business analysis across Zurich Australia’s Technology teams. You will lead the practice through its next stage of maturity, building an AI-enabled capability that delivers faster, clearer and more connected outcomes across the software development lifecycle.

This is a visible leadership role for someone who can challenge the status quo and turn a bold strategy into practical change. You will develop our people, introduce meaningful measures of success and work hands-on with business and technology leaders to simplify complex change.

You will also be responsible for the following:

• Lead the Business Analysis practice strategy, standards, quality framework and AI enablement roadmap.
• Build an inclusive, high-performing community by coaching leaders and analysts, strengthening career pathways and developing future-ready capability.
• Redesign analysis workflows and introduce practical AI-enabled approaches that improve speed, quality and business outcomes.
• Lead discovery and analysis for complex change, turning ambiguity into clear options, requirements and recommendations.
• Establish meaningful practice measures, including analysis turnaround, requirements quality, rework, adoption and delivery outcomes.
• Connect business analysis with product, architecture, engineering, quality and platform teams to reduce handovers and create a stronger end-to-end delivery experience.

You are a curious and courageous change leader who looks beyond established ways of working and is prepared to test, learn and adapt. You build trust through clear communication, constructive challenge and the ability to make a complex story simple for stakeholders at every level.

In order to be successful, you will have the following:

• Significant business analysis experience delivering complex change, supported by demonstrated practice or capability leadership.
• Experience leading meaningful transformation within a business analysis, product, technology or comparable knowledge-based function.
• Demonstrated success turning strategy into action, including hands-on leadership of change, sustained adoption and measurable improvement.
• Experience leading and developing people, establishing professional standards and building strong career and capability frameworks.
• Strong skills in discovery, facilitation, process redesign, requirements management, acceptance criteria and traceability.
• Experience applying business architecture techniques and operating effectively within insurance, financial services or another regulated environment.
